50k on Florida Trail in Okaloosa – Marathon #98

Great trails that were well maintained. We saw two different groups of hogs and friendly deer. The hogs are really tearing up the trail. I want a bacon biscuit now.

Seafood 50k (Seafood Don McCloskey 5K x 10) – Marathon #97

I needed to get some distance in so I ran the Seafood 50k instead of just doing the Seafood 5k. Pensacola Runners Association always put on great post-race parties with food and drinks.

Marathon #94 – Run to Beach Pier

Finished marathon #94 with a run from East Hill out to the end of the pier at Pensacola Beach and back through Gulf Breeze. Saw family, friends and amazing views.

Marathon #85 – 27 miles with some crop dusters

Ran the Eglin trails again with some of the crop dusters. Always good running with them. We even got to go on a boat ride once again.

Marathon Run #82 – Pacing Marathon Training Group

Finished marathon run #82 while pacing the marathon training group. It was cold and a lot of ice everywhere. Not very typical in Florida! We found a package on the sidewalk which looked like it fell off a delivery truck so I went and dropped it off at the DHL delivery building.

Pacing Marathon Training Group – Marathon #80

Finished marathon #80 while pacing the marathon training group. I started early and ran to the store from my house, then paced the training group for their distance, then ran back to my house and added extra distance to get my training in.

Marathon Run #78 – with Santa

Finished with 30 miles of training. First I ran to the store, then I pace the training group. As we got downtown we realized the other training group was hanging out with Santa Clause downtown so we sped up and met with them and made sure to get a group picture with everyone.

Marathon #72 to A Little Madness Brewery

Ran to the brewery and hung out with friends. Stopped by the gas station on the way back home and got some milk and a few other things. That grocery bag got heavier over the remaining 2 miles!

Marathon Run #71 – Geoff’s Fundraiser

I joined some of the crop dusters to run with Geoff for his fundraiser. At the halfway spot, Robyn and I went to the Mexican restaurant and got iced margaritas, which were perfect for the heat of the day!
