An Inspirational Journey
Finished Long Haul 100 with a Sub 24 hour finishing time. This was my personal best for a 100 miler and I got the special green belt buckle since I completed the 100 miler in less than 24 hours. The route was flat but miserable due to the storms that hit the days leading up to the race which made a large amount of the route to be extremely muddy and wet. Marathon #99 within 10 years completed. I was also one of the guest speakers at the race meeting the night before at the dinner. It was great meeting others on the trail as well as seeing those I’ve already met before. Looking forward to pacing the Big Big Marathon in Gulf Shores, Alabama in a few weekends to hopefully complete my 100th marathon in less than 10 years!
