An Inspirational Journey
Finished the Marine Corps Marathon with a 3:57:39 on my watch and an official race time of 03:58:15. Not quite sure why, but my watch as well as all my friends who ran it, all showed a much longer distance. I was focused and consistent on running the tangent lines as well, so not quite sure how it got almost a half mile extra on mine! Not really a big deal though! 🙂

A few days before the 2018 Marine Corps Marathon, Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2) held a fundraising event for brain cancer research.
Here’s a news story video about the event with one of my heroes, BethAnn Telford, and myself rappelling down the top of the hotel to raise money for brain cancer research. We had planned on running the marathon together, but unfortunately BethAnn got sick and couldn’t make it. 🙁
