The upper cabinet doors are added and the shower is fully working now. I still need to seal things up, fine-tune some things and get the grey tank installed underneath the van. All the hard and complicated things are done. Now I'm just finishing things up like sealing things, molding, touching things up, flooring, plumbing underneath and installing the shower door when it gets here.
Big milestone on the van build — the upper cabinet doors are in and the shower is fully functional.
After all the planning, measuring, cutting, and problem-solving that went into this build, having a working shower in the van still feels surreal. The hard stuff is done. The complicated stuff is done. What’s left is the satisfying kind of work — the finishing touches that turn a project into a home on wheels.

It’s that final stretch where you can finally see the finish line — and it feels good.
This van has been a labor of love from the start, and every mile it’s going to carry me to was worth every hour of work. Adventures are coming and I cannot wait.
