Paced the Virtual Marine Corps Marathon in Pensacola

Although there was lightning and some hard rain hitting my face for a while, today was another great marathon running with a group of great people. It’s always great seeing everyones accomplishments whether they PR a race, run their longest distance the first time or just get out to join in and support each other.

I paced a group of awesome ladies today (Katey, Leslie and Zoey) and they all did great, especially with the crazy storms we ran through which seemed like most of the run. They are all strong runners and can definitely do it in on their own, but I’m glad I was able to join them for some miles!

Today was marathon #57 for me and was great training for the Pinhoti 100, which is just two weeks from today! Time to really start tapering down!
