Book Signing Event

Many thanks to Running Wild and everyone who has supported my journey! The book signing was a great event and it was so great seeing all my friends (old and new), my family and everyone else!

2024 Big Beach Marathon – Marathon #100

I finished my 100th marathon today within 10 years since my first. It was awesome and great joining the Running Wild party bus to pace the 4:30 marathon pace. So glad that everyone in the marathon training group finished. Surprised and so happy to see everyone from previous pacing that came and supported my 100th marathon today.

2024 Long Haul 100 – Marathon #99

Finished Long Haul 100 with a Sub 24 hour finishing time. This was my personal best for a 100 miler and I got the special green belt buckle since I completed the 100 miler in less than 24 hours. The route was flat but miserable due to the storms that hit the days leading up to the race which made a large amount of the route to be extremely muddy and wet.

Trail Run – Post Annual Appointments

My MRI came back with good results. I took a picture of the comparison since one year ago. To celebrate, I started a hiking a new trailhead nearby and realized it connects to the Ride Rail trail out to Alachua Sinkhole so I decided to run out that way.

50k on Florida Trail in Okaloosa – Marathon #98

Great trails that were well maintained. We saw two different groups of hogs and friendly deer. The hogs are really tearing up the trail. I want a bacon biscuit now.

Seafood 50k (Seafood Don McCloskey 5K x 10) – Marathon #97

I needed to get some distance in so I ran the Seafood 50k instead of just doing the Seafood 5k. Pensacola Runners Association always put on great post-race parties with food and drinks.

2023 Wildcat 100m – Marathon #96

Finished the Wildcat 100 miler earlier today. My 9th 100 miler completed and that makes 96 marathons.in less than 10 years. This one definitely had the most pain of all of them as the chafing and blisters were crazy.

Marathon #95 – Bryce Canyon 50 miler in Utah

Finished marathon #95 yesterday with the Bryce Canyon 50 miler in Utah. Mountains, hoodoos, snow and amazing views. It was a race I’ve been trying to get to for years and it did not disappoint.

Marathon #94 – Run to Beach Pier

Finished marathon #94 with a run from East Hill out to the end of the pier at Pensacola Beach and back through Gulf Breeze. Saw family, friends and amazing views.

Marathon #93 – Lake Martin 100 Miler

Finished marathon #93 today at the Lake Martin 100 (8th 100 miler completed). This was definitely an epic race due to the weather conditions that attacked us throughout the night and next day!

Rocky Racoon 100 – 88th Marathon

Last weekend I finished the Rocky Raccoon 100 miler in Texas (north of Houston) with a time of 26:44:52. This was my 7th 100 miler completed and my 88th marathon I’ve completed since my first marathon I completed 9 years ago.

Long Haul 100 – Marathon #86

Finished Long Haul 100 miler with a time of 25:10:03. Wished I hadn’t been sick this past week, but at least I felt good enough on race day. The back of my jacket had ice on it when I finished.

Marathon #85 – 27 miles with some crop dusters

Ran the Eglin trails again with some of the crop dusters. Always good running with them. We even got to go on a boat ride once again.
